GREAT & RARE!! Ancient beer jug, Norway, (Scandinavia) 1799

Very old Scandinavian beer jug (Norwegian) with the year 1799. These types of jugs were registered in the owner's name, including this one. The person took the jug to where he drank beer and kept it filled. There is a hole at the bottom. It is visible that real use was made of it until the end. The bottom of the jug where a layer of beer often remains is more soaked. Two mythical water horses are visible on the side of the cup. The cup was undoubtedly painted over at some point.
