Facemask of the MOSSI, Ghana, ca 1960
Striking charming appearance this somewhat older decorative mask of the Mossi from Ghana. The crest on top has a restored fracture that does not detract from the whole. Face with much expression, tubular eyes and a large sharp nose and a protruding mouth. Warm medium brown color and except for the restored fracture mentioned above, in good condition.
