Ceremonial spoon of the AKAN, Ghana, ca 1960

Special object! this ceremonial spoon of the Akan. Quite large in size. Look closely at the photos for details. A closed "ring" at the top of the eye with a notch below and a rectangular block with five elongated ridges below that. Chip in the scooping area. Matching use and age patina and neatly placed on a custom-made stand that is included in the price.
