Older passport PENDE mask, D.R. Congo, approx. 1970

Stylistically strongly sculpted passport mask of the PENDE tribe from the D.R. Congo. No carved-in signs, though there are scarifications on the forehead, next to the eyes, and on the cheeks, teethed mouth and a threefold hairdo. With slight traces of use and age, it is in good condition.
