Old tribal wooden bell, YORUBA, Nigeria, 1960-70

Special and rare object, this older tribal bell of the YORUBA tribe from Nigeria. A feminine figure with notorious Yoruba facial scarifications with a remarkably high hairdo. Warm, mid-brown tint and with slight traces of use and aging, it is in good condition. The bell was glued on a stand.
