Old, ritual axe, YORUBA tribe, 1st half 20th century
A special and extremely rare(!) object, this old, ritual, tribal axe of the YORUBA tribe from Nigeria. Iron, bronze and copper. The iron shaft with a bronze cap on the bottom side. From the top, it resembles the head of a leopard. This bronze has also been finely worked on the edges. Genuinely a special object. I have never seen any object like this. For this object, I have ordered that a professional stand was made, which is included in the price. This object is in good, used condition.
