Midsized ancestor MUMUYE tribe statue, Nigeria, 2nd half 20th century

Stylistically strikingly shaped, abstract ancestor statue of the MUMUYE tribe from Nigeria. Particularly at the backside, traces of damage by termites are visible. The statue has apparently laid on the ground for some time. The statue is now free of bugs and, considering mentioned traces, it is in good condition.
