Beautiful, big, bronze leopard head, BENIN, 2nd half 20th century
Magnificent piece with a remarkable, big bronze leopard head of the Benin tribe from Nigeria. With great craftsmanship and detail, the bronze head was shaped, using the "cire perdue" (lost wax) method, in which the mould is lost during the moulding process. Because of that, it is a unicat. The head is in good condition.
