Splendidly shaped, big bronze leopard of the Benin, region Benin City, Nigeria. The statue has tedious detail, visually appealing shape and it is made by means of the method of lost wax, in which the mould is lost in the moulding process. Hereby it is a unicat, a unique exemplar. Small holes are visible, which were formed during the moulding. Look carefully at the photos! Overall, the bronze statue is in good condition.
