Powerful older Nepali face mask

Beautifully carved and lived through! face mask from West Nepal. Could have been used as a festival mask but also hung in the house to keep evil spirits out. Anyway... a very honest and earthy mask with a lot of expression. The back has some "sliding damage" but is not disturbing at all. See the photos for the condition.
