Beautiful harp statue of the PUNU tribe from Gabon, 2nd half of the 20th century

Very nice image! This harp/Punu statue is made of a very light wood. You won't get to the concert hall with it, but it is a really beautiful decorative piece. The statue is fantastically carved with beautiful refined scarifications on the neck, front shoulders, upper arms and back. So not just nicked, but really thick on top. Also an elaborate multiple headdress. Some traces of use and aging are visible, but the statue is in good condition. I really won't get an object like this again! Not to be used as an instrument. It does make noise but is really a decorative piece.
