A beauty in any interior, this Mambila ancestor statue

Beautifully stylized ancestor statue of the Mambila from Cameroon, weighing over 3 kilos. The body is concise, angular, powerful, earthy with a varied patina. The hands, as it were, hold the face. A tapered face with kaolin coloring with eyes, nose and mouth as a dark contrast in a harmonious whole. On the side and on top there are a number of "spines" that are so characteristic of these types of statues. A beautiful and powerful statue accentuated by the large flat feet and the wide angular shoulders. Good condition! See the photos!
